33 an hour 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago A Brief Summary of This Position This position is an individual contributor subject matter expert crane operator role responsible for operating one or more crane types in the plant.
This person must maintain good housekeeping, communicate production issues to a supervisor, and work well as a team player while adhering to all safety procedures.
Essential Functions BASIC CRANE FUNCTIONS:
Transfer poles to spinner; relocate pole molds; demonstrates the ability to safely transport lid to mold; safely transport flange to mold and install securely; transport mold to the spinner with a minimal swaying motion; demonstrates the ability not to side load cranes; remove slug bucket from spinner pit safely and with minimal spillage; proficient move raw material safely; demolding poles; remove poles from mold; removing lids; mold changes; flanges placement; transfer poles to spinner; relocating pole molds; connecting plates; safely perform a mold change with cranes ensuring that all safety procedures are followed; transport all mold and mold sections safely with minimal swaying motion; articulate the load capacity; excel at moving material safely; actively identifies and reduces waste within the responsible department - demonstrated via Gemba tracking; train new crane operators SAFETY & QUALITY:
Demonstrates good safety practices; performs monthly safety audits; general housekeeping; use of basic hand tools; reading tape measure; record data; move raw material safely; monitor equipment; certified crane operator Must be able to read and understand daily layout production schedules.
Other duties assigned by the management staff.
Other Important Details about the Role The ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a professional manner The ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions The ability to work overtime as needed Required Qualifications of Every Candidate (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) High School Diploma or GED is highly desirable but not required Able to work in teams and able to communicate verbally and nonverbally One year of general labor experience preferably in a manufacturing environment or willing to learn The ability to communicate and interact with coworkers in a professional manner The ability to pay attention to detail and follow work instructions The ability to work overtime as needed The ability to work in extreme temperatures with exposure to chemicals and irritating particulates The ability to recognize and solve practical problems Highly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications High School Diploma or GED More than one year of general labor experience preferably in a manufacturing environment Experience in working with concrete or in a similar manufacturing environment Educational B Benefits include :
